"For me, HopePlace means much more than just a place. To me, it means hope, support, affection, and knowing that you’re not alone. Sometimes, when we’re going through tough times, especially during a pregnancy or when we’re starting a family, we can feel scared, doubtful, or unsure of what to do. And finding a place where you’re welcomed with care, without judgment, and with the intention of helping you can make a huge difference. It represents those people who are willing to reach out when you need it most. It represents a community that reminds you that asking for help isn’t wrong and that every mom, every baby, and every family deserves to feel supported. It also means gratitude. Gratitude for the people who dedicate their time, their work, and their hearts to help other families. Often, we don’t realize how much a small gesture, a few encouraging words, some diapers, baby clothes, or simply having someone to listen can mean to someone. It's hope when there is uncertainty, companionship when there is loneliness, and love when it's needed the most. And I think that's the most beautiful thing: knowing that there are places and people who want to remind us that we don't have to face everything alone. That there can always be a hand to help us get up and a place where we can feel welcome."
“I am very grateful to HopePlace for supporting me during my pregnancy. It was very helpful for me because, being a first-time mom, I had no knowledge of how to handle my pregnancy or how my life would change. Thanks to them, I learned what to expect at each stage. I really learned a lot and was able to handle labor hours better thanks to the skills I learned with them. I also didn’t get frustrated while breastfeeding, and I knew what to do when I felt my patience was running out. As my baby grows, I understand her needs a bit more and can respond better to them. I always think about their videos when sometimes I feel like I can’t go on and lose my patience. Honestly, I could say that thanks to HopePlace, I am a better mom day by day. I’ve been able to be a very patient mom with much more knowledge. Thank you for your prayers, which were also very helpful. I know with God everything is possible, and I’m also very grateful for HopePlace’s help with supplies for my baby. Thank you so much for everything you’ve given us. Thanks to God for putting you in our lives.”
“The HopePlace really helped me during my pregnancy with the classes. Those classes prepared me for what was to come. I enjoyed learning new things about having a baby and even after having one. The baby store helped me out a lot, there was always so many neat things in there. My son enjoyed coming there and getting to play. The HopePlace is a great place for everyone to come too, whether you are pregnant, have kids, or just need the extra help. They are always there to lend a hand.”
“I am thankful to HopePlace for allowing me to learn new things that helped me a lot and also to know how to take care of my baby. I am deeply grateful for their kindness, their attention, and for being able to get some things that my baby needs. For me, it is a great opportunity to be able to go there and keep learning new things. Thanks for your compassion.”
